By STEVEN V. CRONIN, Staff Writer - The Press of Atlantic City Saxophonist Michael Pedicin said circumstances dictated he "lay low" in his recording career as he worked to raise his family. Pedicin worked as a sideman and as a music director for several Atlantic City casino theaters, stepping aside from the roles of band leader and operator of a music label. "I kind of put my playing career aside for a minute - which never made me happy - but I put it aside to do what needed to be done and raise a family," he said. But in recent years, Pedicin has returned to recording - with a vengeance. He recently released "Why Stop Now...Ubuntu," on his Ground Blue label.
